My wife and I get takeout from here on a fairly regular basis, haven't had anything bad yet!

This restaurant has everything a Chinese restaurant needs to have -- except good food. Recently, I ordered Pepper Steak with fried rice. The sliced beef tasted boiled and flavorless. The fat content in the beef was way too high. The fried rice still had the same pathetic lack of flavor.
My recommendation for New China would be to find yourself a cook who can prepare dishes. There's simply too many quality Asian restaurants in the area to play games with you guys. -

Not really sure what some people are thinking when they open a food establishment. Do they believe they have a good product that people will appreciate, hold high, and return for more? Chinese food can be had on almost any street corner. To compete and make customers return for more, the food has to be interesting, have value, AND taste "good" at a minimum. The food preparation must also be safe. And that brings me to the topic of food safety. While waiting for my order, I observed two kitchen workers in the back cutting and portioning whole raw chickens. This in itself is not a problem. The problem came when I observed one of the same workers walk from the raw chicken to the counter top where my order was being prepared and handles my food and go box without first washing his hands or putting on gloves. This completely ruined my trust in this place. This is a place best avoided.
One word... BLECH! -

The food was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. I got the General Tso's chicken combination, extra spicy with an extra egg roll. This is my standard order when I'm looking for new Chinese restaurants. The chicken was nice and crispy and the fried rice was pretty flavorful. My only complaint would be the eggs were just a hair over cooked. I plan comeback again soon.

Gives Chinese food and fast food a bad name. Avoid this place if you have a pallet at all.
